GrandGuard Piano Services is a second-generation, family-owned piano moving and care company based in North Bethesda, Maryland. We specialize exclusively in pianos, providing white-glove moving, climate-controlled storage, and nationwide piano transportation for clients throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and across the United States.
For more than 40 years, Michael's family has owned and operated Steinway piano galleries, giving him a lifelong foundation in the world of fine pianos. Having grown up in the business, Michael understands the level of care, communication, and professionalism expected by discerning piano owners, dealers, technicians, and concert artists. He also attended Steinway training in New York City, further strengthening his knowledge of premium piano handling and customer service.
Chelsea oversees logistics, customer communication, and every detail behind the scenes to ensure every move is organized from beginning to end. Michael works directly with clients to develop moving plans and coordinate each project with the personalized attention every piano deserves.
Together, we have been trusted by clients throughout the Washington metropolitan area and nationwide to coordinate the safe transportation and storage of fine pianos.
